     Today was one of the most productive days I've had here in the city.  I actually got several boxes of stuff packed up, reassembled what was left of the "donor" laptop, and cleared out most of the recycling.  Just so there's no confusion, the "donor" laptop was the one I bought to repair the one that got "Lotz'ed" back at the end of October.  I ( Read more... )

Well, the old Bronco-II is loaded onto the transporter, the truck is (mostly) loaded, and I'm about as ready as I can be for tomorrow's trip.  It's 10:35pm in Calgary, meaning it's just under an hour-and-a-half to my birthday.  I'm not overly enthused about getting older, but it certainly beats the alternative...  :/

Friends are a great treasure; They help you through the rough times, and they share your good times.  That's what friends are for.  Friends are also for helping you move.  For the price of some food and beverage, you can usually talk your friends into some back-breaking labour helping you move your stuff.  Today was a good example...

I've been fighting a cold ever since I left Shaunavon earlier this week.  I'm sure that I caught it from the saleslady who sold me a new set of cell-phones for myself and trixstir .  She was hacking and coughing, though at first I thought that was because she was a smoker, until she mentioned that she had a cold.  Great, thanks for the warning...
