Made it back out to the farm last evening without any problems. I wound up leaving the city a little later than I had originally planned, but nothing too bothersome. I got to the farm just after 6pm, and got the trailer backed into place.
trixstir and the kidling arrived from town a few minutes later, and we unpacked a few critical items (ie: things that could freeze, and clothes) and left the rest for later. We fed and watered the horses first, then had our own supper of cremated fish-sticks (Trixstir set the oven temperature incorrectly) and burned fries. Tonight, I'm doing the cooking! ;)
My right arm continues to give me trouble at night. No problems during the day, but at night it throbs so badly that I'm only getting about half a night's sleep. Going to have to see what I can do about that.
This morning after breakfast I cleaned out the horses' paddocks before heading in to town to get some paperwork taken care of. The bank had neglected to set up my client-card for Internet banking, so I had been unable to pay some bills that are due tomorrow. We paid them at the bank, and the bank even called the creditors and explained that it was their error, not mine, and that everything had been paid. Nice to have them back me up on that, so there won't be any issues. Picked up my report from the RCMP (or course it was clean!) and we filed our application for a Liquor Permit with SLGA. We also paid the extra fee for an Interim Permit, so hopefully we'll be allowed to sell liquor for the upcoming Christmas parties. We should have the results in a couple of days. :)
Only five seniors came in for the Thursday Afternoon league today, but apparently every third Thursday there's a big event at the Senior's Centre. Hmmm, might have to rethink the scheduling.
On the TO-DO list: 1) Unload trailer, 2) Upgrade laptop with new HD and software, 3) Install lights in garage, 4) set up stalls in garage for horses, 5) install range-hood over stove, 6) apply B-I-N sealant in living room, 7) install new toilet in ensuite. There are lots of other things, but those are the top seven for now. I've got about 2 days to do it, so here's hoping....
Oh, one last thing of course... Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends! :)
