Hard at Work on the Holiday!

     It's ironic that on the Canada Day stat holiday, I took the day off "work" in town, and worked 10x harder here on the farm!  I am tired and sore - aching all over, but it's all good.

Of course, if it was full, would it have been light enough to be blown over? I suppose it's time to invest in some bolts...

Bolts wouldn't have helped in this case. Had it been full, it may or may not have still toppled - this was one heckuva wind-storm! The small (F1?) tornado that touched down just North of town a couple weeks ago ripped heavy steel grain-bins right off their bolted-into-concrete-foundations and tossed them around like tin cans. :/

This sort of thing is why I was looking at the idea of making a small Sea-Can into a buried storm-shelter.

Yes, well, the bolts will work up to a point. Better than no bolts, at any rate.
