Grumbling, he pulled the sheets over his head and hoped whoever was knocking would go away. He was caring, sure, but that rule mainly applied when he was awake. In his opinion, he had no obligation to be awake at such an ungodly hour. To hell with being an early bird; those guys were usually really stuck up and greedy anyways. (There's more than one earth worm in the world, no reason to sing insults at 7 AM!)
Not to mention he'd been feeling a bit depressed lately. He felt terrible about worrying Raven (even though doing LSD once isn't a big deal, in his opinion), and of course was still desperately missing River. His eyes snapped open. It took a moment for the necessary neurons to fire off in his head that, hey, a girl was in his bed. Not just that, the girl he liked was in his bed. Oh, and did he forget to mention he just wore his boxers and some plain white tee to bed last night? He probably forgot to mention that.
And look! Kite came in too! Before the relieved/joyful smile that Kite was alright could even begin to form on his face, said neurons started screaming that the boy he liked was in his room too. (Huh, that was weird. His mind tried to lie and screech that it wasn't true, that Kite and ( ... )

Laughing, rather awkwardly (it was hard to pull of something as embarrassing as that), she stood up, brushing her now messy hair out from her face. Not only had she fallen off the bed, but now she looked horrible! In front of Beast Boy and Kite. But, wait. It like, really doesn’t matter that much, you know. It’s not like you like-like the--- Not true! Not true! Stop right there, back up back up back up ( ... )
