There was a fine line between "morning" and "Beast Boy's wake-up time". Said fine line happened to rest around 12:34 PM, and from what he could tell, it was not his wake-up time.

Grumbling, he pulled the sheets over his head and hoped whoever was knocking would go away. He was caring, sure, but that rule mainly applied when he was awake. In his opinion, he had no obligation to be awake at such an ungodly hour. To hell with being an early bird; those guys were usually really stuck up and greedy anyways. (There's more than one earth worm in the world, no reason to sing insults at 7 AM!)

Not to mention he'd been feeling a bit depressed lately. He felt terrible about worrying Raven (even though doing LSD once isn't a big deal, in his opinion), and of course was still desperately missing River. It had taken him long enough to fall asleep in such a lonely room; dammit, he wanted to enjoy his sleep!

“Beast Boy! This is so totally I-M-P-O-R-T-A-N-T, okay? So, let me in!” Her final phrase was accompanied with a forceful kick to the door. They couldn’t be wasting time! Each minute lost was a minute not spent with Kite, and Linda had to admit, she really, really, really had missed him. It had been too long since the last time all three of them were together.

After waiting a few very impatient moments, Linda simply tried the door handle. And, Click!, she was in ( ... )

Kite had officially deemed today the worst day ever. He even left a little note in his personal files to make sure he remember this day, so if he was ever having another bad day he could look back and remember how much worse today was ( ... )

"AUGH! MY LIVER!"

Well that's what he would have shouted if the wind hadn't been knocked out of him first. His cry came out more like "GUHOOF!" Now he knew why his mom and dad never liked it when he came in with his spider-monkey leaps onto their bed on Christmas morning.

Once he regained some of his breath, he groaned and flopped backwards again, whining and pulling the covers over his head again. "Lindaaaaaaaaaa it's to early! Go back to--"

His eyes snapped open. It took a moment for the necessary neurons to fire off in his head that, hey, a girl was in his bed. Not just that, the girl he liked was in his bed. Oh, and did he forget to mention he just wore his boxers and some plain white tee to bed last night? He probably forgot to mention that.

And look! Kite came in too! Before the relieved/joyful smile that Kite was alright could even begin to form on his face, said neurons started screaming that the boy he liked was in his room too. (Huh, that was weird. His mind tried to lie and screech that it wasn't true, that Kite and ( ... )

In the midst of all her jumping and singing, Linda had been attempting to pull Beast Boy, quite forcefully, out of the covers. Unfortunately, as soon as she noticed Kite, she released her grip and toppled off the side of the bed. Well, that was graceful.

Laughing, rather awkwardly (it was hard to pull of something as embarrassing as that), she stood up, brushing her now messy hair out from her face. Not only had she fallen off the bed, but now she looked horrible! In front of Beast Boy and Kite. But, wait. It like, really doesn’t matter that much, you know. It’s not like you like-like the--- Not true! Not true! Stop right there, back up back up back up ( ... )
