After his chat with Cam, Anakin returned to his room.

Meditation wasn't helping. Exercise wasn't helping. His dreams were beginning to trouble him again.

He needed to write to Obi-Wan. He just didn't want to say exactly why he needed to write Obi-Wan.

Anakin had been shamefully neglecting his correspondence with his Master. But after sending the glitter-covered Vegas show girl back to Coruscant and not hearing a peep of protest, he figured he might have either permanently broken Obi-Wan or finally found a gift that his Master actually wanted.

Anakin walked into his room, limping slightly from his adventures in ice skating, and sat down with a sigh.

He pulled his boots off, laid down on the bed and closed his eyes. He concentrated on removing some of the soreness in his muscles.

It wasn't going very well.

Anakin came back to his room with his overnight bag slung over his shoulder and a shopping bag full of tacky Las Vegas souvenirs.

He might even be grinning. Yeah. Scary.

Someone had a good time.

Anakin hadn't written to Obi-Wan since he had gone home for the weekend, so before heading over to the clinic to say goodbye to Logan and Rory (and to drop off a gift he had promised) he sat down to write.

After stopping into town for a present for Obi-Wan, taking part in some campus beautification, de-gremlining himself, and baking some Tatooine sand cookies that are (relatively) sand-free, Anakin paced back and forth in his room and waited for his comlink to chirp.

He's not excited. Really.
