I never MEAN to break my headphones, obviously. But I just... do? And it sucks, because these are the nice clip-on kind, which produce AMAZING-quality

Hey, I can like SOME rock songs!! Actually, I DO like rock songs - it's hip-hop that I have a lot more trouble getting into. I love Unhappy, it's really catchy. Thanks for the rec; I must say I've not heard of The Salads before, so it's good to know another band of awesome! XD

That was an attempt to put a non broadway related song up, by the way. And my attempt not to be obvious since everybody knows what I listen to mostly. Very few songs from the "popular music" end of things actually move me but this one does.

I'm going to try very hard not to use any capslock in this comment at all, but it's going to be really really hard. Because I adore all of the songs you uploaded - and every single one is going on my fanmix! I wouldn't have minded if you'd just given me musical theatre stuff, since you have such great taste in that anyway, but thank you a million times over for The Story. I've not heard of Brandi Carlile before, but I definitely want to know more. You're right. I heard the song once and was just... very very much "yes yes yes!"

I've downloaded Kate's Wreck Of The Day before, I think, possibly on your recommendation, but hadn't remembered to listen to it again after that time. Now I can't get enough of it. Oof. Can we say many many kinds of amazing. Do you have her entire Birdland concert up for download somewhere? Because I sense that Kate is someone I need to be listening to, yesterday.

Yes it is Dutch! A friend of mine found it SOMEWHERE, I have no idea where, and then one day when I was feeling blah it came up on shuffle and there was something about it that really cheered me up, so I put it on repeat for the rest of my walk to work which was like 8 more plays. xD
