1. I realise that I need to stop abusing my headphones. Because even though ONE set is cheap enough at $25, the fact that I bought my third one for the year today? Means I've spent $75 so far! WTF. I never MEAN to break my headphones, obviously. But I just... do? And it sucks, because these are the nice clip-on kind, which produce AMAZING-quality ( Read more... )

Either "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey or "American Girl" by Tom Petty. You can pick. I'd offer them up--I actually have them as iTunes files--but I'm back home and the wireless is funky and I have no idea what I'm doing.

How about both? :D It'd be great if you could upload them if you can; if not, no worries, shall go hunting!

I am so not computer-savvy. Give me an email address and I'll send them to you?

(Don't Stop Believing is the finale song in Rock of Ages.. *sniff*)

I am going to pick more songs from you but the internet is running like molasses, so I have to get back to you.

Oh dear . . you want me to pick just one song? Dang, so many genres to choose from.
Out of randomness, I'm gonna go with This Everyday Love by Rascal Flatts.
The music makes me bouncy and reminds me of warm sunny days. Haha. I'm a cheeseball.

Heh - I'm glad you went with country-ish in the end. :D I love what I've heard of Rascal Flatts so far, and this song is FUN. Bouncy and happy, you're so right. XD

And hey, don't knock being a cheeseball. I'm glad to be one, myself. ;)

Oooo, one song. That's a tough one. I've constantly been enjoying Jamie Lidell's songs whenever I've found them over the yeras. I should really buckle down and buy an actual album, but lately I've been content to have this song on repeat. Especially when driving with the windows down and tapping the steering wheel.

Another Day - Jamie Lidell

Also, do you have the track from "Marvin's Room" with Meryl and Diane Keeton singing?

OOH. GREAT SONG. And definitely one I can imagine driving to - it'd be so fantastic. I love Jamie's voice too. ♥ Thank you for the rec!

I am all faily and can't recall whether Meryl and Diane sang together in that - I bet they did, in any case I've asked about at a forum and should get an answer soon. I DO have Meryl singing back-up for Carly Simon on Two Little Sisters for the Marvin's Room soundtrack... though I don't know if that's the one you mean.

I'm gonna select The Journey by Lea Salonga. It's got about 75 layers of meaning for me and has always been one of my favorites.

Thank you, what an absolutely GORGEOUS song. And of course, a sublime voice too. I love Lea Salonga. I'm so excited to see her in Cinderella - that comes to Singapore in January! XD
