I am all a-bruised and a-scraped from hauling brush and wood during our working birthday weekend. It was not restful, but it was, in many ways, very satisfying. And WOW. It was a lot of work.

So, Internet, do you have any ideas about saving my zucchinis? Yes, my zucchinis, the world's easiest-to-grow plant, are failing. They get about the size of a thumb and start to rot at the tip. I love starting my day with writing. I get up and do one war, maybe two, with a few other writers, and add between 400 and 900 words to one of two projects I've got active. Both stories are making progress, if somewhat slowly, and I feel like it starts my day creatively and still lets me get going on programming by 9 AM-ish. The next Rail story is ( Read more... )
