I am all a-bruised and a-scraped from hauling brush and wood during our working birthday weekend. It was not restful, but it was, in many ways, very satisfying. And WOW. It was a lot of work.

I find most satisfying things to be hard work! :)

I really like this kind of work because the results are so OBVIOUS. It's not like data entry or doing dishes, where you can put in a whole lot of work and you can't tell the next day - there's this huge new bald spot in the forest! And my muscles are all sore in a strangely comfortable way that says 'you worked!' It's very satisfying indeed.
