Okie, I will go researching this later tonight from the computer at home. I will say so far your supposedly crass and shallow opinion is still surprisingly acceptable to me in that I would have expected this to be you blowing smoke up my ass and secretly preferring the bonerack. I was not expecting the 'fair amount of room in this particular mathematical space' and that is actually really comforting to me as a vain and shallow woman trying to sort this size stuff out.

so....my problem with the article...and the three women pictured...is that they are all perfectly proportioned.
perfect for each of their sizes.

i bet that if you put the tits from the middle and right side girl onto the skinny one...the answers would be different as far as men answering. i might be way off on this one. but i'd love to see more of a selection in body type to get a better response.

There's nothing that I could see that indicates that the picture in The Age article was the picture used in the FHM on-line survey.

I also can't find anything on FHM Australia's website about the survey, which as it is 9 months old is no surprise.

It's entirely likely that the picture on The Age is a stock photo they have, while FHM used an entirely different one for the survey.

If you could point me at something I missed that connects the picture to the survey, that would be great.

Not feeling like jumping in on the body image stuff for once (!) but the poses are interesting. The right model is trad va va voom and the center is coy. The left seems more "hey, how about it".

ya i was really noticing the poses too.
especially because the pose for the girl on the left...makes her look thinner and less curvy. the position of her hips takes away curves.
