Sorry. My computer is out for repairs... Mom has Cancer for sure, just have to do a biopsy to confirm what kind exactly. Biopsy is Wednesday and results the following week. Seems likely that it is stage 4 metastatic breast cancer in her liver and bones. Not curable but treatable. Best case scenario is that she can be put into remission and will ( Read more... )

Mom finally contacted her original onc. Who ordered a full body ct/ pet scan for tomorrow along with the MRI of the abdomen. Results Friday.

Thanks for the kind words. I know other people here have been through this, and worse, and it's nice that I can draw strength from that and your kindnesses. Her liver levels were elevated on a routine test, ultrasounds showed multiple likely malignancies, blood test showed very elevated markers for breast cancer tumors which means likely this is ( Read more... )
