It went very well. There was a very appreciateive audience, which wasn't a bad size. Lots of laughter.

I have a couple of pictures. One shows the pirate that captures me in the first act, and then my rag-rolled hair for the second act. The rag-rollers make my hair lovely and curly. It's just a shame the curls never stay in long enough.

We've now had two run-throughs on the stage with the set, so that is working out quite well.

The set builders have done a great job with bushes made from cardboard boxes, rocks recycled from Music Man props, and a half boat that is fantastic.

There I am tonight, on my knees, rehearsing the finale of act one, when the Major General bends down and says to me,

"Saturday's episode was good wasn't it? But I don't understand what's going on with River Song."

So when we weren't acting, I spent the time explaining about the seperate timelines of River and the Doctor.

Well last night was the first night of the Victorian Music Hall. It was an interesting experience.

I went partly dressed (underwear and corset) with everything else packed in the family's large suitcase. I have more costumes for this than a standard show. Turned up at the hall, not really knowing what to expect as we were not in our usual theatre ( Read more... )

Just mustering up the energy to get my self pinned into my wedding dress (first time I've said that!) then it is off to dress rehersal.

Not that I know all the words. All of my solo bits, but not all the choruses.

Not that we are in the actual theatre; we get into there 6pm tomorrow.

It is going to be interesting.
