Have been on Brownie camp for the weekend. Great time and the girls were well behaved (if one was very cheeky).

Have I missed anything major?; new Doctor announced, Kate's baby, someone famous died?

Well after the consoltation earlier in the year about the Girl Guide promise, we now have new wording.

I promise that I will do my best:
To be true to myself and develop my beliefs,

This was a county camp and I could take four of my Brownies. First time I had gone camping with Brownies, but it turned out to be great fun.

Something's going on at Brownies tomorrow. Mother's been told not to make anything for me to take.

Should I be worried?

I've just been up the local hill to do kite flying, tree climbing and tracking with some of my Brownies.

It is such a beautiful afternoon and the air was so clear, the view was amazing. It was quite warm as well with a good breeze for kite flying.
