I haven't yet posted about my Christmas and birthday presents, so here I am rectifying it.

Well, it sneaked up on me a bit, but Christmas has now begun.

Today I cried at the 'Muppet Christmas Carol', then went to carols at 7.30 and refilled the choir candles. This evening, we had the midnight service and I have now eaten the traditional turkey sandwich before going to bed.

Went round to friends and had mass watching of Doctor Who on big screen. Whole room went 'Ooh' together a few times.

Drank Bailey's coffee and watched Galaxy Quest and How to Train Your Dragon.

I am also now wearing green glittery nail varnish. Great fun.

The turkey and stuffing has been eaten; Queen's speech watched; presents from under the tree opened.

In my morning pillowcase (bigger than a stocking), I got the usual socks, smellies etc. Plus I got a copy of Grimms Fairy Tales. The ones with all the gory bits left in such as the Ugly Sisters cutting bits off their feet so they could fit the slipper.

Have munched my chocolate orange now and so feel a little sick.
