My next production....
... is 'The Pirates of Penzance'. 
This production looks to be a traditional one. The last time we did it in 2001, it was the Broadway version, which wasn't that different to my mind, but we had to pay royalties to do it.
Auditions are in a couple of weeks for the main parts. Anyone that wants to can be in the chorus, so if you fancy being a pirate or a policeman, you know where to come.
I'll be audtioning for all the female parts as usual. It's lucky I have such a big range (almost three octaves) so I can get low enough for the alto. I probably won't get Mabel, as I haven't really got the very high notes, but I'll audition because it's the only time I get to sing 'Poor Wandering One'.
