my window is leaking. i've got three styrofoam cups catching water. they drip at different rates and i can't discern a repeating rhythm. they speed up as the rain intensifies. right now they are at largo. perhaps in a proper deluge, they will reach andante.

the new el-p l.p. is better than ok. i would go so far as to say it's pretty good.

still, i think the best albums i've heard this year are "zeitgeist" by smashing pumpkins, "the awakening" by caliban, and "23" by blonde redhead.
