I have been working all day on a pair of earrings for my friend Karen. About a year ago she mentioned that she would like another pair of earrings but this time in an owl theme. So I did a little sketch that I wasn't satisfied with and then totally forgot all about it till last month when she brought it up again.

After I got started making the new rings this morning - but didn't get very far - one of the customers called to see how far along I was cause she was thinking she would like to change the design. I told her what had happened and that I was just starting to make new rings so it would be an excellent time to change the design. So here I am passing ( Read more... )

I had the problem again yesterday where I had an eutectic reaction when joining brass and sterling on the wedding rings - some of the brass pieces sunk down into the sterling.
