friday - and mystery solved

We wondered why those young people were in such a big hurry on Tuesday when we saw them near that old homestead site on the Marion Brooks loop trail and yesterday morning there was an article in the paper about a race that they were in to bike, hike and canoe around that area.

I'm normally not an antiques lover but I was very intrigued by the choices in this shop. It was chock full of cool and odd stuff.

That article sure explains why the hikers were rushing around you on your hike. Ha ha What a challenging race!

I love wandering around antique shops. It's like going to a museum.

I'm pretty sure we must have met up with the Bend group - they have a "Lars" and that sounds Danish.

This person seems to collect a lot of very interesting things - not your usual antiques.

I'm glad Dave reads the newspaper! He's the one that figured it out when he read that article.

The most interesting antique shop I've ever seen. I'm not usually an antique fan.
