Dave had his eyepoke day today so to pass the time while he was at the clinic I walked the Meadville Ernst bike trail extension again. Took the DSLR with the Super Takumar lens. I love looking at things through the eye of that lens. Lots and lots of pics: ( HERE... )

Re pics 2 & 3, if I were on that bike trail, I WOULDN'T like how it looks like a big black snake, lol. Great pics as usual, though...

Thanks! I never saw a thing like that before. Wish I knew its purpose.

That's OK, my grandson and I have recently invested in new ROAD bikes--not the skinny tire kind, but hybrids which will typically be ridden where there are no snakes, lol.

(I have nothing against snakes, per se, although my sympathies have always sort of leaned towards Eve in THAT story.)...

Thanks! One of my favorite things to do. Wander around and see what catches my eye.

Nice!

It looks like the kind of barrier they put around a construction site to stop runoff.

Yes, sounds right. It was only in places where they had put in a freshly graveled road.

That walk you went on was nice. The lense really did make your photos dreamy!

When I was the barrier had woodchips in it, I thought it might be for stopping erosion.

I'm really curious about the house. Was it really crooked? If so, it should have a little crooked man and a little crooked lady living in it :)

The side of the house really did have a big bend in it. Collapsing in the middle. It was abandoned and no one living in it. I thought of that nursery rhyme too! :-)

Goodness! I guess that's okay if it's abandoned. No-one to hurt if it collapses!
