wednesday - dreamy morning

Dave had his eyepoke day today so to pass the time while he was at the clinic I walked the Meadville Ernst bike trail extension again. Took the DSLR with the Super Takumar lens. I love looking at things through the eye of that lens. Lots and lots of pics:

Under the overpass in the opposite direction than I walked last time I was here.

Those same flowers as yesterday - dead nettle - one of the first wild flowers around here.

This was some kind of barrier that was beside the bike trail. Not sure what it was for. I liked how it looked like a big black snake.

Here it was farther down towards the creek.

End of the trail on this end - a crooked house.

Baby leaves with French Creek in the background.

I love how the lens makes things like this so dreamy.

Close up of the big black snake - full of wood chips.

Back to the underpass.

Graffiti again.

Not sure I agree with this.

I liked how those blocks were sliding down the creek bank. The railroad was constantly making noise over there. Cars crashing into each other and hooking and unhooking, revving engines.

This end of the trail is much more natural.

A little stream with orange colored muck.

Flowing into French Creek.

Reflections.

I liked the reflections so much here's another.

Swampy place.

Bark and greenery juxtaposition.

Shad bush in blossom against the sky.

Study in straight lines.

Two textures.

Little reaching twigs.

Crosses near and far.

Today's question:
29 How have your goals changed as you've gotten older?
I never did like promoting myself but I felt I had to do some promoting of my art when I was younger. Now that I'm older I don't have to do it at all and I'm really glad. I guess I am still an artist. I do make art but I don't have to sell it now. The goal to make money with it is gone.
