The appointment with the PCP was unexpectedly short -- he had a student with him, which means the student took up 25 min of my 40-min appointment taking a history. A history. Which is (1) contained in my documentation, which goes back 30 years, and (2) is already known very well by my PCP. And then he had to go give said history to the PCP. Another ( Read more... )

Had last appointment with the orthopedics dept at Dartmouth re my perpetually broken right arm. The PA declared it "done" -- the X-rays make it clear it's really not healed, though. Looks like I'm spending the rest of my life disabled.

I have a surgery date! June 10.

The meeting with the neurosurgeon up at Dartmouth Medical Center/School went extremely well; baron_elric and I were quite impressed by both his attitude and knowledge. As well as his demeanor.
