My post-dental-work lifesaver was tofu in black bean sauce; I don't have a recipe, unfortunately (I got it from a local Chinese restaurant) but I suspect that if you have a wok and access to soft tofu and packaged black bean sauce it shouldn't be difficult.

Try making South Beach mashed potatoes, i.e. pureed steamed cauliflower. Very tasty. I like it with a bit of butter and lots of dill. Also pureed butternut squash, which can be left alone or gone with the cinnamon/nutmeg route, is also a good option. In both cases, a food processor is needed but a blender would do (in small quantities) in a pinch.

I'll PM you about some stitch marker sets.

Omelet. Whip up egg with a teaspoon of milk (or as many eggs + milk as you like). Pour into medium hot buttered pan. As soon as the bottom skins, add filling and start folding. Lower heat and steam until it's as set as you like. I prefer well-cooked and almost dry.

Cheese will work. Tiny bits of ham. And they have a filling texture like a sandwich without bread or chewing.

Yes, I know everyone knows how to make an omelet, but it does take practice and this means less googling.

Actually, I married a man who is a WIZ at making omelets (when I met him, it was just about the only food he could cook well, but he still does them magnificently, when I can convince him to take out the omelet pan). I was thinking our pretty-damn-ripe avocado would be good in that too. I think I have dinner plans! Thanks for reminding me of omelets, Mike!

I'm trying to remember a couple of years back all of the things that lead to this stupid tooth that I still need 2K of work done on. I had to have two wisdom teeth removed, root canals, etc and it was all spread out like your procedures would be. [Of course ALL of that and the tooth is crumbling now under the cap & needs an implant which isn't happening. But enough about me.]
I ate Pacific and Imagine soups, instant mashed potatoes (real ones are easy enough to make as well & you won't need to unearth all of your kitchenware), smoothies (but you'll need your blender), really really broken up scrambled eggs, pudding, softened ice cream and applesauce.
Maybe tuna salad? Give it a good mashing with a fork so it's really soft. Chicken or egg salad done the same way.
Mashed bananas. I know it sounds stupid but baby food. The fruits are actually quite tasty.
Egg drop soup would work pretty well. Just add a little soy sauce and sherry to some chicken broth and then add a beaten egg.
