...And onto Stigmata's pouting poutyness. It wasn't too heavy, perhaps the weight of a quilt. Dusting off his hands and adjusting the motorcycle helmet that covered his head (it kept his mask hidden, don't you know, and it made him look SUPER COOL!), Night saluted, grinning ear-to-ear.
"...And then it disappears as quickly as it appeared! Goodbye, Copper!" Night then leaped from rooftop to rooftop, making his getaway~

He sent the leaf flying away with a wave of his hand and a gust of wind, looking frantically around for the perpetrator. "Copper"? "Copper"? Who was that boy calling a copper?
... Not that he knew what exactly it meant, but it seemed to carry a horrible, insulting note to it. And still! He was disturbed in the worst way ever.
Instinct kicked in, and his eyes flashed as he took notice of his target. Someone in a motorcycle helmet. But he couldn't be fooled. He knew it was one of the "robbers". He was on the rooftops. If he wanted a rooftop chase, he would get a rooftop chase. Forget about all his previous musings and thoughts and whatever. This one? This one was Stigmata's.He crouched down slightly, gaining momentum, and kicked off from the ground. He didn't learn how to outrun monsters made out of trash for nothing. Work in the Scavenger's Yard had more rewards than just random stuff ( ... )

Night's tongue poked from between his lips in effort as he poured extra muscle power into his legs, increasing his speed. He figured he had plenty of time to sit and plot more mischief, but of course he HAD to pick the crazy-fast, scary guy! Stupid, stupid, stupid!
"The game is on, the game is on, but you're going to have to do better than that! Let's play Follow The Leader!" Night cried, a bluff, and sped across the first rope bridge. If he could just get lost in the Marketplace, he might be home free! That was his destination.

He knew he wasn't normal, but had someone seem him that night. Pulling on something black, as to better fit into the shadows, he went with a crisp black shirt, black pants, and stayed in his customary shadows along the walls wherever he went.
So far, Juliet had been the only one able to keep up with him. He didn't want to be caught, not until he knew exactly what he was.

...Then her radar beeped, alerting her to someone in hiding.
Locket's gaze lowered, and immediately turned to the right. There was a man in black, melted into the shadows. He was pretty good at it, too, but her systems never lied!
Her lips curled into the smallest smirk, a glint in an eye of green, and the game was on. Light of foot, she quickly made in his direction.

He slowed a little for a moment, allowing her to pass by, but when it became more and more sure that she wasn't out to just pass by, Black picked back up again, slapping a foot onto a window sil and dove straight up, over and onto the building into a run.

"I don't think we've met!" She called to him with a laugh, not breaking her stride. "Were you born here recently?"

Now that he was awake and aware, the idea of the game sounded fun. He got to run around chasing people, getting exercise. What better way to spend a day was there?
Happily, Youth set off looking for robbers that wanted to play.

She was currently hiding behind a large, rather nice couch, getting her breath back after running away from some cop she hadn't recognized on Captain Planet island. Peering over the top carefully, she spotted a very familiar figure with black hair.
"Botheration!" She sank back down behind the couch and tried to think of a plan. Maybe he hadn't noticed her... but she couldn't depend on that. She fiddled with her mask, trying to adjust it (when it still refused to move she stopped), and shifted slightly in her crouched position, so that she would be ready to run if Youth gave any indication he had seen her.

"Fred! Are you a robber? We should play! I will give you time to get ahead if you would like!" He might not be sure yet of what all he could do, but Youth knew he was fast. Very fast.

She straightened up. There was little point in hiding behind a couch after being seen by the 'enemy'; that would only give Youth an advantage over her. Really, she was fortunate that he had given her warning instead of just sneaking up to the couch and sending her to the jail others had written about in the journals.
She gave him a smile (a genuine one, even) and tapped the mask over her eyes. "I would appear to be a robber, yes. A head start would be nice..." She glanced over her shoulder, picked a clear path, and started to run. No sense in letting his generosity go to waste.
This would almost be fun, if running from people intent on catching her was not horribly familiar.

Prongs felt the top of his head, trying to get a better idea of what the hat was like. It was round and tall with a brim, and he could feel some sort of emblem on the front of it. He quickly moved to find a mirror and looking in it he saw he was wearing a tall police man's cap that looked abnormally big on his head. Also he noticed that there was a note pinned to his chest. "CATCH THE ROBBERS!" it read in large bold letters. This was as weird a morning that he's ever had ( ... )

"Another game, huh?" Locket asked herself as she stepped out the door of her home, tucking the tag into her sleeve. That police cap sat neatly atop her head, adjusted momentarily as she found herself smiling. She never did participate in the games before, but they always looked a lot of fun.
Locket began her rounds bright and early that morning, tugging her gloves on tight.

His first ten minutes out of bed were spent trying to get this dopey-looking domino mask off of his face, and the pages of his journal bore tales of disappearances. He'd heard again and again that this was a strange place, but there had to be SOME sort of logic to it...
"Hey, Locket." The appearance of his coworker would at least give him some insight. Spying Locket on her new patrol, he approached. "What is it this time, some sort of costume party?"
Reply
From her belt, Locket produced a pair of handcuffs, the metal softly clinking together. Although the thought of putting him in cuffs was making her about twelve types of embarrassed, she nodded and kept her cool.
"...And it looks like I've found a target. I'm sorry, but a game's a game, after all~" The cuffs were flicked open, and she made her move.
Reply
But the clinking of metal brought him back to her words, his brow furrowing in a muddled stare, his eyes glancing down to the handcuffs. Maverick scoffed, his shoulders rolling. "Right. A game is a game."
And, in a surprisingly fast turn upon his heels, he booked it straight away. He glanced back, Locket catching a grin and only a short wave in his wake. "Can't make this easy on you!"
