It looked like she had to avoid whoever was designated as the 'police', so Pinky decided to go off and just keep her eyes open in case she ran into one of them. It would be a major bummer to get caught right away.

Ah-ha, and here's another masked bandit. Locket easily scaled a tree in the park, crouching low and keeping on eye on Pinky. She looked like she'd been doing quite a bit of running herself, with so many cops running around to capture just as many robbers. ...This catch, though, was hers!
"Your time's up, Pinky!" Locket couldn't help but laugh, jumping off the tree, firing her dash jets for some extra distance, and landing evenly on her feet. Her hand quickly snatched and opened the handcuffs attached to her belt.
Man, little did she know the tables would turn and she might have a ton of cops after HER, huh?

And with that, Pinky took off running, purposefully going the way with the most obstacles (trees, rocks, tree roots, etc.) in hopes of slowing her pursuer down.

Darn it, and now she was picking the occasional crowd of people as well, and after shouldering her way - with many apologies - through the first two clusters of people, she chose to just leap over instead. With a lengthy breath Locket shook her head in disbelief- Pinky was fast!
"You'll pay for taking that priceless artifact, thief!" Hey, why not get into the game?

Any cops out there were going to have to be fast, because she didn't plan on getting caught right away.

"Ma'am," Locket said with a smile and a curt nod. Then, with a little chuckle, she pulled out the handcuffs.
"Are we going to make this easy, or shall we take a scenic tour of Edensphere in my pursuit? Your move," She spoke with a mock stern tone, though she couldn't help but grin the entire time.

The handcuffs were pretty much a dead giveaway, but Promise figured being polite was in order first. "Well, you know, I haven't been here long, so I like the idea of getting a tour of Edensphere." She smirked widely, and got ready to run. "See you in a bit!"
Then, she broke into a fast run, occasionally glancing over her shoulder to see how fast the robot-girl was coming.

...And then she was off! Locket found herself laughing as well, and took off after Promise. There was that rush again, the thrill of the chase once more! "Oh, I'd be honored to give you a tour!"
The reploid felt an immense pride in seeing people having fun like this, particularly with someone like her. That silly book was wrong!

Well, the best way to learn what was going on was to go out and see, so Relic pulled on his bag and dashed out the door. Maybe he'd catch a robber too.

He hadn't intend to do any chasing or catching. He was looking for the jail. So far, though, everyone he'd talked to had either been just as clueless as he was or had been a "robber" and had run. By now he was just annoyed enough that he might give chase to the next one.

Thankfully he had managed to avoid capture so far, but it had been making a trip to the bazaar nigh impossible- going into it, he received more looks than usual, and eventually someone would take chase until he managed to lose them.
Again, he gave up with removing the black bandana, pausing to look up, spotting Rogue-- another person he didn't recognize, but once again someone dressed as a 'cop.' He stopped warily, simply watching the other man for the time being. Maybe he would get lucky and not have to bolt.

He shoved his hands into the pockets of his jacket, more or less making a goodwill gesture. "You wouldn't know where the jail is, would you?"
[Mismatched eyes would be a big ping for Rogue, but they're a bit too far apart for him to see.]

He stepped closer to Rogue, giving a small, uneasy laugh, as though trying his best to get along, but being kind of a social failure. "May I ask why you're looking for it? I would imagine it doesn't particularly matter to the 'police'."

Or something or other. Code reminded himself he was a Young Avenger, whatever that entailed was important. Besides the save the day and make things peaceful bit. Priorities, he had them. Everyone needed a bit of fun in his opinion. There were too many people in pain and needing this. Hopefully they'd all get the chance at it. Or he'd have to pull a much needed movie night.
