Faye wasn't sure what she thought about having a party. She wasn't feeling particularly sociable at the moment. Or ever.

She was sure what she thought about alcohol.

After searching around a bit, she poked her nose into a room containing tables of food and drink, but no people... except for that one rather pretty person sitting over there. Sweet, she thought, I seem to have beat the crowds.

"Hey there," she said to whoever-that-was, coming fully into the room and giving him one of her cat-like grins, "This where the booze is?"

"This is the place," Otogi said, sipping from the glass he'd made for himself. He gestured towards the table with the drinks. "Enjoy. The name's Otogi, by the way." Thinking about it, this could also be a good way to meet other people. He'd never had a problem with that, but it was still nice to get out a little.

Faye eyed the booze. "Don't mind if I do~." She glanced back to Otogi as he introduced himself, giving him the once-over. "I'm Faye," she replied. "Faye Valentine." The niceties out of the way, she stalked unhurriedly towards the alcohol selection, trying to feel out what she had a taste for.

Whatever she picked was going to be the very best tasting of its kind that Otogi was capable of making. After all, unless he chose to do otherwise, anything he made with his magic was the best of the best.

"I suspect more people will show up eventually," he said. "Getting at least a little sloshed is probably going to occur to some of them."

On the one hand, there was something to be said for keeping a clear head in a crisis situation. On the other hand, Simone's nerves had not stopped jangling since she'd picked herself up off of the pavement once the hallucination had broken, and despite the continuing level of unease, there didn't seem to be a crisis looming on the horizon. Not, at least, of the sort she could do anything at all about.

Just one drink, she told herself, not sure if it was a promise or an order.

She looked around as she stepped into the room, noting only a couple of people, though it looked set up for more. "Is this the..." she trailed off, grasping for a word that didn't seem too frivolous, then after a moment gave a mental shrug and settled on the obvious. "Party?"

Otogi wasn't sure if 'party' was the right word or not himself, but he wasn't too picky about terminology. "This is the place." He gestured towards the drinks. "Otogi Ryuuji." He introduced himself with a wave of his fingers as he took another drink.

Simone's slightly wry smile acknowledged her own uncertainty, even if she wasn't willing to verbalize it, nor to admit it too strongly even to herself. She ducked her head slightly, chuffing a quiet laugh. "I should've guessed, just looking around." Of course, she had - thus the question - but one had to be polite. "Simone Tam," she offered. "It's a pleasure to meet you." She didn't sound entirely certain of that; given the circumstances, could it really be called pleasant to meet anyone?

Well, it was something, anyhow.

His lips twitched slightly. "As pleasant as it can be, given everything that's going on, I guess. Though I've had quite a bit of luck meeting people at occasions like this. Even here." His gaze dropped briefly to his ring before going back to her.

Rather late to the party, Snake finally found himself in the correct room. "I take it you're the one who is organizing the party, huh?" Snake could never turn down alcohol, as dangerous as a thing as that might be for him.

"Yup." Otogi nodded, introducing himself again. "Help yourself, there's plenty for everyone!" And there would be, as long as his strength held out. Which could be for a while.

Riza walked in, her ears laying a bit flat against her head. Ya, she was a bit depressed. She was thankful that Roy hadn't had to deal with all of this. She wandered over to a somewhat familiar face. She wasn't sure. "Mind if I join you?" She asked, her tail flicking a little bit behind her.

Snake gave Riza a vague smile. He recognized her, mostly because of the ears, and nodded. "Of course," he said, offering her a drink. "Sit back and relax, maybe those Entropi up there will come down and join is in a toast."

Fubuki had good instincts for parties, and probably could have found this one even if there hadn't been an announcement, much less planned and furnished entirely by his lover. He bounded into the building and flashed a grin across the room to Otogi.

"You started without me," he said, without any real annoyance.

Otogi grinned warmly at Fubuki. He'd known all along that he'd show up. "Then we'll stay late together and clean up?" he suggested with a wicked grin.

"Sounds like fun to me," said Fubuki. He glanced around the room at the other guests. "Looks like this is going to be a good party. I hope everyone shows up!"

"Yeah. Even with those things out there, people need to relax some." He preferred not to think about fighting, but if they were able to work off some tension, and if they had to fight, they'd be able to do it better after this. Assuming they didn't get too horrible of a hangover.

Baltha sauntered in, grinning. "Hope I'm not too late for the party~"

"Of course not, it's just getting started," Otogi replied with a grin. "Help yourself! Everyone else is."

"Gladly." She regarded him for a moment. "We haven't met before, have we? I'm Baltha."

"Otogi Ryuuji, but call me Otogi." As always, the only person he wanted to hear 'Ryuuji' from was Fubuki. But he offered a warm and pleasant smile. "Glad that you could make it."
