Baltha sauntered in, grinning. "Hope I'm not too late for the party~"

"Of course not, it's just getting started," Otogi replied with a grin. "Help yourself! Everyone else is."

[viera_lead]

"Gladly." She regarded him for a moment. "We haven't met before, have we? I'm Baltha."

[green_eyed_dice]

"Otogi Ryuuji, but call me Otogi." As always, the only person he wanted to hear 'Ryuuji' from was Fubuki. But he offered a warm and pleasant smile. "Glad that you could make it."

Baltha nodded. "Pleasure to meet you, Otogi."

She laughed. "Do you really think I would pass up the opportunity for a drink after that?"

"Having a drink was just about the first thing I did after that, honestly," Otogi told her. It was quite true. Of course, it had followed "realizing he was alive" and "clinging to Fubuki like velcro".

Baltha had taken a bit longer to get around to realizing she was alive, since she'd died by jumping through an Entropi. The viera nodded. "So, where have you been hiding all this? I was under the impression that the Indigeo didn't serve alcohol even when it was up and running."

He'd forgotten how many times he'd been asked this tonight. Not that he didn't enjoy the look in people's eyes when he told them. "I don't need to ask it. I make what I want or need." Within limitations, of course. He held out a hand and with that trademark swish of green sparkles, a lovely buttercup was suddenly there in his palm.

Baltha raised an eyebrow. "Impressive. My world's magick can't do that. Then again, I was never much good at it in the first place."

"It's a family sort of thing," Otogi said. It was one of his favorite ways of expressing what he could do without being very specific about it. Some people had odd ideas about djinn, after all.

[viera_lead]

"I see." Baltha had enough family problems of her own not to inquire further. "Well, quite thoughtful of you to put your talents to good use."

Otogi took another drink and nodded. "I'm rather enjoying it. It's good to see people getting to know each other."

Baltha picked up a drink of her own. "Of course; it always is. That's one thing disasters like this are good for, at any rate."

[green_eyed_dice]

"Yeah. Though the first time I did one of these, the attack hit afterwards. A lot of people had hangovers during it."

[viera_lead]

Baltha nodded. "I can see where that would be a problem. Would this be the storm I've been hearing about occasionally? I believe it was before I arrived."

[green_eyed_dice]

"Right." Otogi nodded. "I hadn't been here all that long myself at the time." He'd still been wary about revealing what he was back then. So much had changed since then.
