The lure of free drinks was a lure Fool couldn't quite resist. Free drinks were almost as good as women who wanted to let him cuddle up to him. Not that there had been an abundance of either lately.

Humming to himself, Fool drifted into the office and dropped onto the refreshment table. He studied what was available. None of the cups were quite his size, but that wasn't about to stop him.

Otogi glanced over towards the tables and blinked a bit to see the small person there. "Need something a bit smaller?" he asked curiously.

Fool turned to look up at the young man curiously. He supposed from the inquiry, that this was the host of the party. "If it's available," he said. "I wouldn't want to put you to any trouble."

"It's no trouble." Otogi snapped his fingers and a glass much more suited to Fool's size was there before him. "How's that?"

Siegfried hung back a little as he entered the office building. Even though there were people around, he was relatively alone for the moment. The proverbial breathing space was a much-needed luxury. Although it didn't quite quell the faint twinge of guilt he felt for slipping out without telling Pegasus.

Otogi, eventually, did notice the pink haired businessman. Somehow, he wasn't overly surprised that he was there. Siegfried could probably use a good drink, in Otogi's opinion.

But he did look as if he wasn't quite in the mood for company. Far be it from Otogi to be a bad host and force himself on someone. But there were other ways to be polite. He waved a hand carelessly, and a drink appeared on the table nearest to Siegfried, where he would see it.

Siegfried noted the appearance of the drink with some surprise. He plucked it up off the table and glanced around until he spotted Otogi. Ah, and there was Pegasus's supplier. Siegfried raised the glass to him in a silent toast.

Otogi lifted his own glass with a grin, then took a drink. He was pacing himself, but he suspected that before the night was over, he'd be decently intoxicated. As long as it didn't interfere with his plans, he was good with that.

Atem's ears were slightly folded back as she entered the office building, her tail fluffed out to twice its normal side. The events of the last few days had put her on edge, and the continued situation with Toshi hadn't helped. The gods trailed her, as unhappy as their mistress.

When he spied her, Otogi at once strolled over there, a glass of wine ready for her. He didn't serve all of his guests, but there were certain exceptions. Atem was one of them. "Hey," he greeted her, noting the signs of her being upset.

Atem took the glass, trying to summon a smile. "Hey," she returned, her voice quavering somewhat.

"Anything you want to talk about?" he asked quietly, noting also the gods' reaction to her state of mind.
