Declan's spent most of the day walking around the city because while it's not his London, it's London and he's missed it terribly. The streets are mostly the same as the ones he knows from home, at least, and it's nostalgic to wander around and know this was where James Watson had grown up and lived the most important years of his life. Magnus and Zimmerman getting married on the spur of the moment's not something Declan expected but he was happy to attend and even happier to have Kate on his arm. He's still happy when she's ready to go, though, and it's automatic to wrap his arm around her to bring her back to wherever they're finishing the evening ( Read more... ) -

Declan looks around to see if there's anyone close and, realizing there's no impressionable children in their direct earshot, he tips his head down to whisper into her hair. Magnus found and returned to Will made for a good day and now two days later, it seems everything's back to some semblance of normal. There's still the bit about Kate bolting on him the morning Magnus disappeared but Declan's learned the best way to get Kate to talk is just to wait her out and she'll come around eventually; pressuring her doesn't ( Read more... ) -

Walking halfway across the island with a throbbing shoulder's not Declan's idea of a good time but he's all right with it considering Kate's appointed herself to come with. He's always been fond of Kate, always thought she was brilliant with weapons and hand to hand and their senses of humor (sometimes) gel but it's different here on the island, ( Read more... ) -

Declan didn't go to the sex ed lecture put on by Magnus and Zimmerman but he'd hung around outside and when he sees Kate leaving, he snags her, grinning wide at her. He's still not what he'd call settled but he's got a hut way on the edges of the island and not so terribly far from what's been called "dino country" and he's of half a mind to check ( Read more... )
