I'm back in Chicago today. It's been a long day, but very eventful. Woke up at 7:30am after barely any sleep last night, headed to the station and rolled in around noon. My family trip to Madrid and Barcelona was incredibly eye opening, or should I say palette opening. I was introduced to so many unique flavors that have changed my taste buds forever. Here I am going to chronicle everything I ate, or at least photographed eating.

I've had a complicated relationship with hobbies in the past, but I am making peace with that now. I always felt guilty for not consistently engaging in my hobbies on a regular basis. I watched a really interesting video today that talked about the divide between your perceived self and you're actual self. I realize that sometimes I see myself differently than how I am. I feel really sad. I remember I just always wanted us to be better friends. I always wanted us to be closer. And then we got mixed up with the attraction and stuff too quickly and now I feel like it's harder to do that.

I buried you, any feelings I may have had for you so deeply in the recesses of mind that it basically didn't exist.
