In running, and yoga, and meditation, I am confronted with the fact that I am a very shallow breather.  I do not know how to remedy this. I need a tape, a cd, a dvd, or something structured to structure improving my breathing.  Anyone have any recommendations? Pretty please?

I am alive!  I know, these days I come on here every three months and make that bold declaration and then fall away again.

I just re-upped my paid account here on LJ, so here's to trying to be more active! I still read though, that I swear. :)

At work, I signed up to get a 10 by 10 plot of land on which I can garden organically. Not being a gardener, let alone an organic one, can anyone recommend a good simple book about organic gardening?  The library here has lots of them, but I have no idea where to really start. :)

A mermaid and an angel falling in love!

I have this sneaking suspicion I should be doing *something* right now. Then again, I think maybe I am just so unused to 4 days off in a row that the fact that every moment is not jam-packed has me a bit wonked out. I think I will continue to just sit here and veg.

Busy busy busy. Crazy working, with some great travel mixed in. Last week I was in NYC working and got to help out in a good clinic, and at night I got to see lots of peeps and do fun things like see "Rock of Ages" on Broadway. Good silly fun ( Read more... )
