I listen to 4 podcasts pretty regularly, though I'm thinking you may know all of them already.
"Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me" for a Daily Show like take on the news (hour long). I usually end up grinning like a loon at some point.
"The Savage Lovecast," which offers both some good advice and the opportunity to boggle at how messy other people's sex/relationship lives are sometimes (45 minutes-ish). If you don't know Dan Savage already, I'm frankly surprised.
"This American Life," which is usually just interesting stories (hour long).
"The Moth," true stories told live (about 15 minutes each). Many different moods here, but most of 'em are great.
Can you download BBC podcasts, too? I'm not sure on the restrictions placed outside the UK.
