I saw a really good movie last night! Considering the fact that I go to movies pretty rarely - partially due to time constraints but more to do with there usually being very little I’m actually interested in seeing - this is a pretty big deal.

Just returned last night from my Pacific Northwest travels. I have to say that I really love that part of the country a lot. As with several other places I have visited in the past few years I could totally envision myself living there. It's as amazing as everyone says and even more so.

Zoos and Views
Just returned yesterday evening from a 5 day jaunt to Georgia and Colorado. Spent Wednesday and Thursday with my parents and eldest niece, Grace, in Stone Mountain/Atlanta, then Friday morning flew to Denver, rented a car and did a couple of days of semi-random exploration. Didn't even get very lost. Thank you Rand McNally road atlas.

She Went Hiking, AGAIN?
Yes, yes I did. This Saturday I went to Sequoia National Forest with a friend who's work has her currently posted nearby in Visalia. A little too touristy for my tastes (and a waste of 4 wheel drive) but absolutely beautiful nonetheless.
We started with the Kern river.

'Tis the Season...
