Kenny Update

Kenny and my mom came home from the hospital today. His liver function is pretty normal again but he's not out the woods yet--they're still having a hard time managing his secretions, vomiting, and oxygen levels. Between this and some otehr hospital adventures I've been witnessing, I kidn of want to set the medical system on fire.

I'm glad that your mother is able to set up a system to give him care at home with love and attention.

Dad almost got sent home once with insulin and a glucose meter but no syringes or test strips, so I'm sympathetic to the particular hassles involved in discharage, as well as the travesties of hospitals in general. I'm glad Kenny is home and that your Mom has things sorted out closer to her satisfaction at least. *hugs* to all of you.
