Thanks all for the words of encouragement! Symposium went well - I was fortunate to have all my tech snafus and video malfunctions in the run through the day before, so I had good tech karma the day of. We did it - Netsui's film, Inside Out, tied for Distinguished Community Documentary in the Adobe international competition. So her movie work and by extension my artwork will be playing at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival.

OMG.

The MFA show was a total success. I now owe carpe_jugulum and nathan_fhtagn a small portion of my soul for sticking with me the 3+ days it took to set everything up. In the end though, it was totally worth it to watch people walk in and begin to ooh and ahh, only to fall dead silent, file in quietly and just sit and stare at the dancers.
