Yes, I fucked up. But unfortunately for me I do have a life to dedicate myself to. I have a job and I have family that I need to be at and with. Sure friends are important to me but if they can't see that sometimes I am just really bad at knowing when dates are and what I have time for. Then fuck them and they can go to hell!

Awww buddy, that sucks about Canada...wait...I didn't even get invited. You just have to shake it off an realize that not everyone has to be as dedicated to their summer jobs as you do. AND THANK GOD YOU ARE SO CLOSE TO YOUR FAMILY!!! You should never ever ever feel bad about that. I think we will all be ok if we don't hang out til August.
