Pretty much if Gerald and I can buy the house and save it, we will be heroes. And if we aren't eligible for a mortgage (likely), we will be miserable failures and my family will have no place to live. Oh dear!!

I-fest weekend!
I go up to Ithaca this weekend for I-fest, hooray... also, perhaps to Horseheads on Sunday with the Emsko to look at wedding dresses. Ahhh! It is real, it is happening and I am STOKED. I finally got Gerald's address in boot camp, so now I can write him letters... I'm still looking forward to the first one I receive from him. It will be a big relief ( Read more... ) -

So You Think You Can Dance is awesome. I would not call it a guilty pleasure, that is more like the all too many tracks of Britney Spears I have on my iTunes (shame). But it is my pleasure, that is for sure. Some people love American Idol (I loathe that show), some people like The Hills (not my cup of tea), some people watch Gossip Girl (gag me). last call from Gerald
Just got a somewhat frightening call from Gerald, with a cacophony of Marine recruits "Ay, Sir"ing in unison in the background. He barked in Marine fashion that is at boot camp, arrived safely and we'll hear from him in 2 weeks. He sounds like a true Marine already.

I think I am a bad luck charm. I used to be inherently lucky, but now not so much. Today Dad went to the doctor after being mysteriously sick for the last couple o' weeks and they sent him immediately to the emergency room to get more blood work done. ROAD TRIP 2009!! It's been so fun so far! We've been cruising along from what is so far: Oregon to Wyoming. Gerald and I have got to drive in the same car so far, following Karla & Frank (his parents), but we are in the process of ditching them at their home in Wyoming and then continuing our adventure by our lonesome.
