[ It's the scent, really, that she smells first. Something was off, a feeling in the air. She glances up toward the ceiling as the lightening cracks overhead, a sort of super powered energy following along with it.

She glances at the others sitting round her, judging for the reaction and faces of her fellow peers.]

Do you feel that?

[ Even if smell or sense was more appropriate. Hogwarts, although confusing and unusual always exuded a sense of security. For the first time since her arrival-- that peace felt disturbed. It's a feeling of alarm. Standing suddenly she turns toward the entrance of the great hall.]

Something isn't right.

[OOC: Open to anyone of any house. Vampire will be going out to investigate and will definitely end up fighting!]

[Suzaku had overheard the girl, but admittedly, he didn't notice anything amiss.]

I didn't feel anything.

[ She glances at the other boy for a moment. He's handsome, with short brown hair and striking green eyes. Taller than her, certainly, but then that isn't difficult. Her gaze doesn't last long though, before she frowns and turns back toward the entrance.

After a moment of silence she shakes her head.]

I... I don't know. I have a really bad feeling.

[ And that feeling grows progressively stronger. She doesn't know how to explain it. Her stomach begins to feel hallow, however. The scent-- the oder, particularly to her sensitive nose, makes her stomach twist.]

Something rotten.

[ But what...? Licking her lips anxiously she looks back at the other students, and the boy who spoke to her just moments before. No one else notices (yet). Finally, she shakes her head, before taking a step forward. ]

... It's probably nothing... [ She smiles, as though to try and prove that she's obviously just said something silly. ( If something's happened, that could endanger others, right? I don't want that... )It's clear though that the words are

Oct. 22 - Late Evening - Gryffindor Common Room

[ As the lower levels are shut down, Hufflepuff students will be given sleeping bags in order spend the night in Common Room of the Gryffindor Tower.

A small reminder: If boys try to sneak their way into the girls' rooms, they'll find themselves sliding down a makeshift slide as the steps up to the rooms shift underneath them, sending them back down to the Common Room! ]

[Okay it hasn't been that long and already shit is happening. A hero move would be going out and helping to do something, probably a move Egbert would pull, after all he's the hero guy. Strider here isn't so there's no real need. If asked he'll just shrug his shoulders at the commotions, no big deal. Very deep down though he's wondering how a certain ectosis and troll are handling in the other tower.

Not that he's worried mind you, they can handle and look after themselves. For a brief moment the Gryffindor student leaves his room to enter the Common Room, sparing a glance around until the entrance.

... Whatever. This shit will blow over.]

[There's that blonde boy by the portrait entrance, looking rather sulky with his arms crossed. It's stupid, he thinks, that he's trained in fighting things just as bad as these, which eat hearts and shoot flames, and they took away his weapon so he can't help.

And he knows Axel isn't going to let him leave. He's already tried twice.

Now, he's pouting (only a little) and keeping watch over the other students, ready to defend... the portrait-hole, should any get up here. He doesn't know what to do, if he can't go help. Shifting from foot to foot, he looks nervous and anxious and upset]

[ There's a glance spared over to the kid, reading the body language from behind dark shades but not making any attempt to move over in his direction. They talked once, the fact he didn't question his "name" showed that the guy might be a bit gullible. That or naive. Either way it's a familiar trait, and being that Dave Strider didn't have anything better to do his feet began to move.

He stops a couple feet nearby, closer to the portrait entrance now and tilts his head ever so slightly. It looks as though he's staring at the entrance, but hidden eyes actually shift to glance back in the boy's direction.]

Oct. 22 - Late Evening - Ravenclaw Common Room

[ As the lower levels are shut down, Slytherin students will be given sleeping bags in order spend the night in Common Room of the Ravenclaw Tower.

Don't forget to be mindful of when you leave! Getting back into the Common Room will require answering a riddle! ]

[Terezi is not content to spend her time in Ravenclaw, of course! Not when such interesting characters as Dave Strider are partying in Gryffindor.

Oh and Tavros too, she guesses.

At any rate she shall not stand for being limited to Ravenclaw! So she shuffles off in search of Rose, figuring it's only polite to invite her into this misbehavior too since Dave is her ectobrother or something.

Part of her hopes that Rose will already be trying to sleep, because messing with her is a lot of fun.]

[Where she'll find her, to Terezi's probable dismay, is very much awake, propped against a wall enjoying a thick, leather-bound text. The Ravenclaw tower seemed to be good for literature if nothing else, and she was already trying to learn as much as she can outside of class.

When she notices Terezi scurrying towards her, she snaps the book shut.]

[Terezi spends a half-second mourning that lost opportunity before grinning and lean way too far into Rose's personal space. Sadly this is normal behavior on her part, carefully designed to annoy Rose to a maximum degree. WHAT A GREAT DORMMATE TEREZI IS.]
