[ Dinner has just finished and as residents of Hogwarts begin to make their way back to their dorms, some individuals will feel a quick and light pinch. A notice to look at their devices, for when they do, a message will echo in their minds:
Albus Dumbledore’s so-called heroes have gathered in great numbers to oppose my forces. This ... remarkable show of spirit I commend, for I value bravery and nerve. However, they are not at his command, as are my Death Eaters, nor half so prized to me as authentic pure-blooded witches and wizards.
They are nothing of the sort.
To you, my listeners, while you might live amongst their ranks, I am willing to show mercy. Your intelligence in seeking out my favour will not go ... unrewarded. Your warning is this: weapons will be limited to fire and illumination against the creatures that, even as I speak, crawl out of the depths of the Black Lake. I strongly suggest all Slytherins, those in the house of some fond nostalgia to me, immediately vacate the premises and ascend to higher ground.
