Happy Halloween!
Following the defeat of the Inferi at the hands of one Albus Dumbledore, Hogwarts castle has calmed down considerably. Students have been permitted to return to their houses (and their studies!), and slowly but surely, the building itself is mending. Argus Filch may be seen here and there grumbling about the additional workload, but apart from the inevitable increase in irritability on his part, there will soon be no sign at all that anything out of the ordinary has happened.
With the staff and students therefore free to turn their minds to other things, Halloween morning brings a wonderful surprise for all of Hogwarts. Decorations in orange and black have flourished overnight to lavish the castle in floating Jack O’Lanterns (stuffed with chocolates!), enormous candy-floss flavoured cobwebs in the corridors (chew your way through!) and jelly-bats careening through the school (some of them sadly having stuck themselves together; oops!). The Halloween Feast will begin at 5pm (in-game) and last until half-past midnight when all students will be returned to their beds. Make sure you don’t drink too much pumpkin juice; lessons begin the next morning at 9am sharp!
