I'm out of words.
I used to look at my personal writing as a sort of therapy. The fact that I no longer do it -- in any form -- is either a sign that I'm whole and well or that I'm not inclined towards introspection anymore.
I write all the time for work, so for a long time I used to simply say, "I'm out of words." That was my excuse.

On Sandals And Simplicity

The New Digs
After signing the lease on our new apartment, the boys and I spent a few nights just camping out. I keep my word
It's an 18-gauge stud w/cubic zirconium. It's pretty enough, but not as low-profile as I'd like. The artist who did the piercing -- Willy -- said he could lower it later, after it heals. He says it will heal more quickly with less risk of complications the way it is now. Since he's the certified expert, I'm taking his word for it.
