It's an 18-gauge stud w/cubic zirconium. It's pretty enough, but not as low-profile as I'd like. The artist who did the piercing -- Willy -- said he could lower it later, after it heals. He says it will heal more quickly with less risk of complications the way it is now. Since he's the certified expert, I'm taking his word for it.
