I drove down to Galloway Twp this morning to work a Komen event, "Rally for the Cure" which was a special mothers day golf outing at the Seaview Country club & spa. Left the house at 7AM and got to the site by 8:15AM. A very lovely site and it has two courses, one of which is just on a bay ( Read more... )

These are the soles of the sneakers I was talking about two weeks ago. I was over at the Komen affiliate office today and I asked about them. They are New Balance sneakers, and yes they are real. No, they're not available to the general public......YET. They will be and as soon as I find out more info, I'll post.

I just recieve the Spring 2008 issue of "Pink Notes" the newsletter from my local Komen affiliate. Inside is a photo of the sole of a pair of sneakers someone wore at the last Race for the Cure.

The tread (as in the sneaker was molded this way) reads:
