I think it is completely wonderful that you have these new friends and family, you have had some bad luck and been "down" a lot lately, and you deserve some cool, caring people in your life.

I've had caring people all along, I just needed to appreciate that bad and good come at the same time sometimes. Life is a journey - and how much you enjoy it depends on your attitude.

I am VERY lucky with the friends I've made, both real and online (*ahem*) :)
