"There isn't a real revolution," Kyouya said, frowning. "In fact, none of the questions appear to have any bearing on reality whatsoever."

He extended a hand, and his expression changed to a friendly smile. "Kyouya Ootori. Where do you practice, Mr. Wright?"

"...Oh." Phoenix said, clearly embarrassed.

"Uh, I have a small firm in Los Angeles. Wright & Co. Law Offices."

(Don't ask who "Co" is, please.)

"I can't imagine why they ask, but they do every time," he said, deliberately ignoring Phoenix's embarrassment.

"How interesting," he replied conversationally. He hadn't ever heard of Wright & Co, but it didn't hurt to know about it. "I've known a few lawyers in Los Angeles, but I'm afraid I'm not altogether familiar with the area. Would you mind if I asked who the 'Co' would be?"

Seeing as Leon lived with Gumshoe, and Gumshoe felt the need to barge into his room every ten minutes just to talk, Leon had heard a great deal about Phoenix.

He wasn't sure how he felt about Phoenix randomly yelling out "Objection" though...

"So, you're Phoenix Wright, huh? Friend of Detective Richard Gumshoe?"

Phoenix considered briefly how to answer the question. 'Friend' was really such a strong word, after all.

"...I know him, yes. He usually works on the cases I take."

"You do a lot of homicide work then?" asked Leon. "Let a lot of murderers walk the street?"

"What!? No. I...I just get my client found Not Guilty!"

The clearly pronounced "OBJECTION!" was like the dim lightbulb that suddenly illumuinated above Dick's head--he knew that voice! And only too well! In excitement, he ran 'round to the gates to see the only face he knew so well...

"LARRY!!!" he screamed, big grin on his face.

Phoenix sighed. "Hello, Detective Gumshoe."

He laughed and gave Phoenix a hard clap on the back.

"How are you, pal? I didn't know if I'd see you again, little Pearl said she hadn't seen you since...I think she said some party...I don't know, she tried to tell me I had some head injury too but--"

He paused suddenly, remembering the last time he had actually seen Phoenix himself...

"Erm...you...Ms. Von Karma isn't following you into the park, too, is she?" he asked, evident worry creeping into his voice.

He looked behind him, quickly, even though he was certain there was no need. If Franziska von Karma had been around, Gumshoe's question would have earned them both a whipping.

"I...don't think so. I haven't seen her for a few weeks."

Perhaps shouting that loudly had been a bit unnecessary. Then again, he didn't know everyone could hear him.

"Well, I would be objecting to his demand for more wishes," Phoenix answered, grinning sheepishly.

Phoenix shook Kira's hand. "Phoenix Wright." He paused. "But I guess you probably heard that bit, too, huh?"

Pearl had been working on her punctuation with Miss Susan when that Objection! came over the loud speakers, clear as day. She leapt to her feet with her hands to her cheeks. Anyone on Main Street would have heard an interesting Doppler effect as a purple blur ran by.

"Miss Susan, I have to go. I can't believe it's MR. NICK!!!"

She launched herself at him and Phoenix ended up with two armfuls of crying and laughing little girl.

"Pearls!?" Nick caught Pearl and laughed just as much as she did. "What are you doing here? Did you try to get away from the Spiri--" he hoped he caught himself in time. No way was Pearl trying to cut out on training, and, if all went well, she'd never know he did either. "What are you doing here?" he asked again, hoping the middle part would be forgotten.
