"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-NIIIII-KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!" wailed Chamo as he pawed at the rubble ineffectively. "WHY'D YOU HAVE TO COME HERE TODAY?! YOU WERE SO YOUNG ANIKI!"

"not dead, just pinned!" growled a muffled voice from under the rubble.

Chamo paused. "Shouldn't you be blasting your way out?"

"lost my ring!"

Dawn had heard about the attack that was going on in Neon and wanted to do whatever she could to help; since it sounded like there were more than enough people taking on the Digimon...!

"Piplup?"

Dawn gasped as the Penguin Pokemon leaped off her head and started running in a random direction! "Piplup! Where are you going?"

"Probably to whoever screamed in that feeble, weak voice...!" Goma replied, the Coordinator smiling sheepishly before running after Piplup.

"AAAAAAA-NIIIIII-KIIIIIIIIIIII!" wailed Chamo ineffectively as he scratched the rubble.

Under it, Negi sighed, coughed and called out, "chamo-kun, evolve or something!"

I can't, we left the device at home didn't we? You keep doing that, even with your cell phone!" retorted Chamo.

"There's that weak, feeble voice again..." Goma replied as Piplup continued running as fast as a Penguin-type Pokemon could run, Dawn managing to keep pace with her partner.

"Can we not call the person we're trying to save weak & feeble, Goma?" Dawn asked, a slightly irritated look on the Coordinator's face. Dawn considered herself lucky that whoever it was couldn't hear the Child Digimon's comments!

"Is it within.... thirty yards of us?"

"Yes."

"Is it a rock?"

"No."

"Is it a pipe?"

"Nooooo..."

A long pause. "Is it me?"

"YEP!"

Lunamon sighed. "I hate this game."

"We have nothing better to do," replied Gawn, curled up in her little uncomfortable position.

"True."

Kouji decided to stay behind and help in the efforts to get the injured out. He evolved Strabimon to Wolfmon previously and the two of them were assisting the ones who needed help.

He heard Gwen's irritated audio post and he was heading in that direction to where the building had collapsed.

He saw the damage and looked at Wolfmon who nodded and the two of them began to clear the rubble to get to the girl.

"Hear that?" inquired Gwen as the sound of rubble on rubble could be heard from their tiny little shelter. "Sounds like someone's out there."

"Would imagine so, considering that you were able to post," replied Lunamon. "HEEEEY! Can I ask who's out there?"

Gwen gave her partner a bewildered look to which Lunamon replied, "It could be a killer digimon or tamer."

"Point."

By the time the evacuation and rescue effort began, Sabine quite frankly looked really exhausted and not to mention how she left the Hyperion looked nothing like she was right now. Her shirt was even more tattered, but it still looked in somewhat okay condition and her pants were dirtied with debris from falling buildings.

She was fairly sure that by now that her automail was creaking a little bit than normally from how much she was running around town, evacuating people and getting the injured out, but she also ignored that and reminded herself that automail could be replaced, lives couldn't.

And so, she was driving in the Denali with HolyAngemon flying above her and she still had her prized Desert Eagle AE on her with more rounds and she also had her explosives that were only to be used during dire times as to not cause even more damage to the already damage-stricken city ( ... )

Karone's head was aching as she regained consciousness. Her Ranger suit had protected her from the worst damage from the blasts, but she was still burnt, cut, and bruised all over.

As she heard Sabine calling out, she groaned and reached her hand up, blasting purple electricity into the sky as a signal flare.

When Sabine saw the purple electricity, she motioned HolyAngemon over and she carefully lowered herself into the rubble and went into the direction she saw the signal.

"My name is Sabine Alshire and I'm here to help you!" She called out again and when she arrived to where Karone was, she frowned at how badly she got hurt.

"Do you have any broken bones or the like, miss?"

"I don't think so," Karone answered, setting her arm down. Her wrists were sore from failing to cut through Argomon's vines, but they didn't feel broken. "My powers protected me from the worst of it."

But she was still too sore to get up on her own. After trying, she grimaced and settled back down. "My partner? Black Tailmon?"

"Here, Karone," came the deep voice from behind her. "I am also too injured to get out on my own." And coming from him, it was saying a lot, as he hated to show weakness.

One of the collapsed buildings happened to house the offices for a certain public relations company. Or, at least, it used to.

Now? Electrical fires were beginning to spread through the ruins, towards one Fujieda Sumiko, who happened to be unconscious beneath several storeys of rubble. Her cubicle right by the full glass outer wall had been beautiful on good days, but on bad days like this one, it meant that Sumiko had gotten a pole through the stomach and a shard of the window to the pelvis. Thanks to the collapse of the whole building, her right leg and arm were also crushed under a piece of cement, and some of the bones were piercing through her skin.

Her D-Comm rang on as her partner, Floramon, hysterically dialed over and over.

(OOC: This post brought to you by Gabi's viciousness because Caryl tends to fail at injuries. Also, hold fire on this one for a sec? Might sort out specific people for her. But I'll put up someone else for the rescuing too.)

Now, Sayu - already en route to the disaster via her Captain's orders - had seen Floramon's distress wailing. And... she knew very well where her aunt worked. Thus, needless to say? This was the first place she went.

Tracking the D-Comm signal through her own, Sayu sat on GeoGreymon's head as he dug - carefully - through the rubble. Sayu, was, well... more than a little fretful. But she was a member of DATS, also, and had been for years in her own world - she just needed to focus.

Finally, though, GeoGreymon made it through ... and found precisely what they were looking for.

And Sayu felt her stomach twist in a painful knot. "AUNT SUMIKO!"

That shout and the shifting rubble woke Sumiko up.

Bad idea. Pinned as she was, all she could do was cry out in pain. Though she recognized her niece's voice, she couldn't process much more than that - why Sayu sounded so distressed, why she was stuck, why she hurt all over, that was all completely beyond her.

Sayu jumped down from GeoGreymon's head. NOW was the time to start losing her cool.

"Crapcrapcrapcrap," she repeated over and over again, frantically. The most she knew from DATS was basic first aid. This? Was wellllllll beyond that.

"Sayu-dono!" GeoGreymon shouted.

"WhatdoIdoWhatdoIdoWhatdoIdo..."

It wasn't that it was just seeing someone this badly hurt, of course. Even if it'd been another version of her in another world, this was... family. It was one of the only members of her family she had KNOWN in her world outside her parents...

And seeing someone she loved in this condition was, well.

Distressing.

GeoGreymon frowned, and reached for his Rise Bracer. "Captain Lee, this is Daimon Sayu's partner. We've found a survivor, but she's so heavily injured I'm afraid to move her without medical supervision."

He blinked, and looked at his surroundings.

"Although, given the questionable structural integrity of this building at the moment, I may not have much choice in a minute or so."

It had seemed like a good idea at the time.

Taking her beloved plushie Sir with her, Lunamon took it upon herself to help the citizens of Neon get to safety just like her heroes on Television.

She fancied herself a bit of a magical girl herself, so armed only with a large Kitchen knife and sir tied to her back she set out into the chaotic city.

Despite her small size Lunamon knew if they needed to Sir would push his emotions for her and she would evolve and be able to help people.

You should be taking advantage of this. Exploring the Hyperion.

"B-but sir these people..." She mumbled over her shoulder at him.

Are worthless slime! Look at them scrambling about without a care for anyone but themselves.

Lunamon's eyes were drawn to a storefront where currently several digimon were looting. She could try and stop them! She walked twords them cautiously with her knife.

Damnit you little idiot at least pick your battles! If you're going to get us killed do it over something important! Not televisions. As always sir was right. ( ... )
