"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-NIIIII-KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!" wailed Chamo as he pawed at the rubble ineffectively. "WHY'D YOU HAVE TO COME HERE TODAY?! YOU WERE SO YOUNG ANIKI!"

"not dead, just pinned!" growled a muffled voice from under the rubble.

Chamo paused. "Shouldn't you be blasting your way out?"

"lost my ring!"

Dawn had heard about the attack that was going on in Neon and wanted to do whatever she could to help; since it sounded like there were more than enough people taking on the Digimon...!

"Piplup?"

Dawn gasped as the Penguin Pokemon leaped off her head and started running in a random direction! "Piplup! Where are you going?"

"Probably to whoever screamed in that feeble, weak voice...!" Goma replied, the Coordinator smiling sheepishly before running after Piplup.

"AAAAAAA-NIIIIII-KIIIIIIIIIIII!" wailed Chamo ineffectively as he scratched the rubble.

Under it, Negi sighed, coughed and called out, "chamo-kun, evolve or something!"

I can't, we left the device at home didn't we? You keep doing that, even with your cell phone!" retorted Chamo.

"There's that weak, feeble voice again..." Goma replied as Piplup continued running as fast as a Penguin-type Pokemon could run, Dawn managing to keep pace with her partner.

"Can we not call the person we're trying to save weak & feeble, Goma?" Dawn asked, a slightly irritated look on the Coordinator's face. Dawn considered herself lucky that whoever it was couldn't hear the Child Digimon's comments!

Negi's sensitive hearing perked up. "Someone's coming. Chamo-kun, yell for help! Stop wailing!"

"Huh? Oh right. HEY! HEY! SOMEONE COME AND HELP US OVER HERE! PARTNER IN RUBBLE! OI!"

Piplup came to a sudden stop, not expecting the 'weak, feeble voice' to suddenly start screaming loudly and tripped unexpectedly!

"Pipluuuuuuuuuup!" When Dawn finally caught up to her partner, she and Goma's jaws dropped at seeing the Penguin Pokemon tangled up against Chamo and repeatedly attacking him with Peck attacks!

"Okay Piplup-you can stop now! I think we've found who we're supposed to rescue!"

"Or we could just give these two time to get their rivalry out of their systems...!"

"ACK! Bring it Penguin-Butt!" cried out Chamo as he wrestled with Piplup, his erstwhile nemesis.

Negi sighed in both annoyance and relief. Someone was out there; someone he knew! "Dawn! Can you help me out of this rubble?"

"...Okay, Negi! Give me a moment to figure this out; no need to worry!" Dawn cried, putting Goma down on the ground before trying to peek inside the rubble toward where she'd heard Negi's voice. "What happened to you?!"

"Do you need him to state the obvious, Dawn?" Goma asked before she glanced over at the wrestling match between Chamo & Piplup. It was pretty much evenly matched, for the time being.

"Building fell on me while I was getting someone to safety," replied Negi. "Lost my staff, ring and D-Comm somewhere."

"Bring it fish-face!" yelled Chamo. Best of friends, they were not, unless you counted the twisted friendship of beating on one another as a viable one.

"Well...I'm sure we can find your stuff soon, just as soon as we get you out!" Dawn insisted, moving rubble around as carefully as possible.

"Pip...LUP, LUP, LUP!" Piplup blasted a couple rounds of Bubblebeam attacks toward his rival seconds after hearing the inappropriate comment made by Chamo.

"I think the D-Comm is somewhere. If you can get me that, I can evolve Chamo-kun," muffled Negi.

Chamo went head over heels, rolling backwards before he screeched to a halt. "Okay okay, lets get aniki out there," he said, all bruised and battered.

"Okay!" Dawn looked around for Negi's D-Comm amidst the rubble, with Goma also looking around. As for Piplup, the Penguin Pokemon took a moment to stand up straight in triumph-kind of-over Chamo before starting a similar search for the aforementioned D-Comm.

"What color does it look like, Negi?!"

"It's sky blue and has a crest on it," called out Negi.

Chamo shot Piplup a scowl before he continued to search the rubble for something to aid Negi.

"Okay!" Dawn continued her search with a more optimistic look on her face along with Goma nearby, Piplup noticing the scowl Chamo shot at him but deciding not to do anything about it.

For now, at least. Helping out Dawn was the Penguin Pokemon's main priority. Afterward, anything goes.
