This is sad.............I just finished reading his book, "The Last Lecture," literally this morning. Then I logged on this afternoon
to see that he had died this morning from cancer. His message in his book is definitely worth reading. I think about it alot

 We didn't go up to the hospital today because W had to work all day. They weren't allowing the kids (under 15) into the patient rooms
because it was still flu season. So I didn't want to finagle a visit today while trying to entertain and supervise them in the waiting

Earlier this week I planned a mini overnight trip for us on Friday night/Saturday day. I wanted to go to the maple sugar festival
at Malabar Farm (about an hour from here) on Saturday so I thought it would be fun to go stay in a hotel nearby there on Friday night.

 Tonight's Sam's birthday party at the inflatable jumpy place. I'm looking forward to that part: unlimited use of 12 jumpies and an indoor mini golf course. This place has a little section off to the side for parties with a big royal throne for the birthday kid. I love that part!
