Karen got a call from the kids' school today just before lunch, telling her that she needed to come pick Jack and Delaney up from school and bring them home. Karen had me color her hair a gorgeous shade of red this morning. L'Oreal 4RR, dark auburn. I was really surprised, because while the hair color product that she bought for me to use is still a L'Oreal product, it isn't her usual excellence brand. She bought the "Superior Preference" brand, which carries more options for bolder and more intense ( Read more... )

2011 will probably be the last year that I have my long hair, and that I will be shaved completely bald by the end of the year.

There are two reasons behind this decision:

1. I want to give Karen the gift of my hair, because I hope it will make her happy. and
