And here we have a beautiful young woman, almost nineteen, practically bouncing in. She has eyes so blue they just about jump out at you, and long, long hair, inherited from her mother, originally the blackest black imaginable, but now dyed multiple colors you don't actually find in nature

"Are you from a huge family too?" Demosthenes asks curiously, giving her a casually charming grin. "I said that when I arrived here, but Christ, I wouldn't be surprised if more showed up."

She looks him over, smiling. "Large by some standards, tiny by others. There are five of us, and I'm the youngest. What about you?"

He laughs a little. "It's really fucking complicated. I have a twin sister, three brothers, a little sister, and two half-siblings -- not to mention the cousins I grew up with. We're not a large family, but damn do we have our issues."

"So we're about even, then." She grins. "I have two cousins, but they live in another world entirely. I see them maybe once every few years. But then there are my parents' friends' kids, who all might as well be cousins. Or even siblings. Most of them are here already."

Eve Constantine. *offers her hand*

*takes it and shakes* Lena Thropp-Cohen. *she then frowns a little, considering* "Constantine"? Isn't that Cassie's boyfriendthing's name?

So here's a Tori, because vaguely unusual-looking people who bounce are always interesting, waving at her brightly; her golden retriever puppy, Athena, is weaving around her legs happily. "Last one of your family? That's what everyone always thinks, and then your long-lost older sister from your father's all-but-forgotten relationship arrives and complicates everything." She gives a bright, friendly grin, offering a hand. "Nice to meet you, anyway. I'm Tori Hades, and my puppy's Athena, because she's going to be the greatest dog ever."

She leans down to offer a hand to the puppy (because we love animals), smiling up at Tori. "Oh, I certainly hope my father never had any other kids besides me and my brother and sisters. I can't even imagine my mom's reaction. Though really, she had a kid from a previous relationship surface unexpectedly. That was before I was born, though." She removes her hand from the puppy to take Tori's. "I'm Lena Thropp-Cohen. And your dog is beautiful."

Athena loves new people, too; she'll sniff her hand, then butt at it gently with her nose before barking happily.

Tori, in turn, can't help a grin, both at the words and at the gesture. "That must've been interesting. With Theia, though, her mum's the only one with whom Dad ever had a real relationship. My other sister and my brother and I are all results of isolated incidents he wishes never happened." She's quite cheerful about this, really; it's something her dad's made clear enough without being cruel about it, and she's used to it by now. "Thanks." She beams, shaking her hand. "She's a wonderful dog."

Look, Elena, someone with even bluer eyes than you! Hence why she's arching an amused eyebrow, and with a faint grin and slight nod -- "Nice eyes. Seraphina Hades. Welcome to the insanity." The white ferret curled up on her shoulder will raise his head a little, sniffing the air cautiously.

Wow. That's the first she's seen of that. But surprisingly, she's not jealous. Maybe just a little awed. "Not as nice as yours! I've never seen eyes like that before..." She shakes her head a little, to clear it. "I'm Lena Thropp-Cohen." She looks a little excited. "Is it really insane here?"

She can't help grinning a little more at that, amused but not unkindly so. "My father's. He's an angel, so they're pretty distinctive -- I've got a few half-siblings who share them wandering around here." And further amusion, yes; new people are so fun. "More so than you can imagine, probably. But you can have a good time, if you know where to find it."

"I've never met an angel before. Are they really all... floating around in sandals with harps?" She grins. "I already know a lot of people here, so I'm really not all too worried. Besides, insanity is healthy."

And here we have a handsome young man, just turned twenty-four, grinning at her. "I totally wanted to do that with my hair. Well, not really, but I was thinking about dyeing it some weird colour instead of just black." You wouldn't know it looking at him, it's been black for so long, but Ky's naturally blond. "It's cool, anyway, even if I'd never go quite that far, but it looks pretty awesome on you."

She grins at him. Even if he weren't handsome, complimenting Lena's hair is exactly how to get on her good side right away. As it is, she's already given him the once-over. And approved. "Thanks! You know, I could help you add something, if you wanted. I'm good at hair-dyeing. Not just on myself." She sticks out a hand. "I'm Lena Thropp-Cohen."

He does his best, really. (And he's done the same in return.) So he'll take her hand and give an exaggerated bow over it, grinning. "Ky Hades. It's a pleasure. I'll let you know if I need the help, though if I ever do it it'll probably be an impulse thing, so I'll just do it myself." He runs a hand through his hair, demonstratively. "The usual colour's never given me any trouble getting on, so I'd say I'm pretty good on myself. Never done it for anyone else, though, even if I've threatened -- I mean offered to do my sister's a lot. She never takes me up on it." He grins, all innocence. "Can't imagine why not."

She giggles a little, not used to having her hand bowed over. "I like your name. Is it short for something?" She peers at his hair. "It's very nice hair. If you ever have the urge, let me know and I can supply the dyes. I've got the best ones." She grins back. "Hard to believe anyone could refuse that charm."
