Hmm... can't do any of that. I have a Bachelor's though! And I could... bring baked goods? (I'm horribly bored at my own job today, can you tell?)

Well, it's the thought that counts. I think. :)

Schaumburg, in the offices surrounding Woodfield. (A bit far for you, I think.)

Wasn't thinking of myself, actually. Aside from betatesting random shareware programs back in DOS days, I don't think I have any testing experience. Though I'd probably meet the other requirements....

Unfortunately, probably a bit far for Friend-Of-Mine too. I thought you worked a wee bit closer to Chicago for some reason.

And here I was thinking you'd be hoping the pond to come hang out with us cool kids in the midwest. ;)

Done.

How far is this from Chicago?

Reply

deusinnomen October 8 2008, 20:33:51 UTC
About 20-25 miles or so WNW of the city proper. It's right at the junction of I-290 and I-90 actually. (I can practically see that junction from our office. :) )

So what is that in "time"? (I'm aware that this is probably a silly question like asking, "How long does it take to get across LA?")

hah! You speak as if you lived here once, I only gave ya the distance cause you weren't from around here. *grin*

Chicago is a LARGE city, it's truly hard to give a real estimate. From the edge (which is just east of O'Hare) I'd say it's about 20 to 40 minutes truly depending on traffic, weather and moon phase.
